When purchasing firewood, be sure to always buy local!
Even after a tree has died or been cut down, it still can carry diseases and pests which can infect other trees. To help stop the spread of diseases and invasive species, get your firewood from a local seller, where you will be using the firewood. Firewood from a different area can cause harmful tree problems to your yard or neighborhood. Learn more on the Wisconsin DNR website.
